As you all may have noticed, I'm not entirely active here anymore. Part of what was keeping me here was closed species communities, but given my recent bouts of bad experiences and lack of liquid income, I've faded out of it.

I may update this gallery, but the lack of interaction I have with people here makes the task kind of daunting, and feels like a wasted effort. It's very lonely, here. And it feels way too crowded to make new connections. Not to mention some of the really... questionable calls this site has made.

Update: A little over a month to the deadline, and we're just bumping the contest as a reminder! We hop you all are having a great summer, all things considered!

Hey guys! We're in the midst of summer, and what better way to celebrate than with the Eliore World first official contest!

This contest will be focusing on the sunny fun, and beachy good times most of us associate with summer, and all of it's excitement. We have separate categories for artists and writers, giving everyone an opportunity to participate! We're excited, and we hope you are too

Judging will not be based on an artist or author's skill, but will be based on the quality of the output; meaning we will be judging the amount of effort put into each piece regardless of skill level. We will also be judging on how well the prompt was met, as well as the creativity involved

Prompt:

Summer is here, and Eliore throughout the universe are ready to make the most of the warm nights, and summer moons! Every Eliore has their own way of appreciating what summer has to offer, from attending the festivals of the lands they choose to call home, to the hot, sandy excitement of the beach and ocean! How do your Eliore enjoy the summer months? Draw or write your Eliore's experience! Feel free to include multiple Eliore

Art and writing will be judged separately, and will have their own set of prizes. There will be a First, second, and third place for each! Please only enter once, and choose either art or writing. Please submit all entries to the proper "Summer Moon Contest 2020" Folder within the :iconEliore-World: group

Contest will start now and end July 31st, 2020, 11:59 PM EST. No entries will be accepted past this time. Please make sure your entries are submitted prior to July 31 to ensure you make the cut off

Judging criteria will again be based on

- Creativity of execution. So make sure you bring in something unique! Even if it's just a fun outfit or a fun story twist!

- Effort of execution (Full color piece, written piece is a short story with clear beginning and end)

- Was the prompt met (ie, you're drawing a fun summer theme, and not putting your Eliore in a Christmas tree outfit)

The judges will be our own MissNoShame demonsfearme LadyDragonKia and ChosenUndeaad !

Prizes:

The prizes will be the same for both art and writing and will be as follows:

- 1st Place: A Rare Custom Eliore by @demonsfearme and LadyDragonKia (one winner will get one custom from demonsfearme and the other will get their custom from LadyDragonKia)

- 2nd Place: Rare MYO slot!

- 3rd Place: Uncommon MYO Slot!

And as an extra incentive to join the contest LadyDragonKia is working on a surprise adopt that every person who enters the contest will be eligible to win! So make sure you particpate!
